Help us celebrate the 158th birthday of our 26th president with an afternoon of activities designed to appeal to the young—or young at heart—in all of us. Drop in for birthday treats and hands-on activities in the memorial plaza on Theodore Roosevelt Island. Members of the 54th Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry Regiment Company B will discuss the role of the 1st U.S. Colored Troops during the Civil War and how they trained on the island.
