Launch Ceremony for “Hinsonville’s Heroes”
From 4:00 pm to 5:00 pmWalls descendants and members of the Lincoln University community will gather on Sunday, February 18 at 4 pm for a launch ceremony for “Hinsonville’s Heroes” at Mary Dod Chapel on Lincoln’s campus, a short distance from Hosanna where 10 of the 18 men from the village are buried, including 2 of the 6 who served in Company B. A reception will follow the 1-hour program. This will be the first public program to launch “Hinsonville’s Heroes” and will be held in a sacred place near what was once the heart of Hinsonville.
