Juneteenth Commemoration at Roosevelt Island

This year it will be commemorated on June 13th at Theodore Roosevelt Island with a presentations by park rangers, 54th Massachusetts Infantry Reenactors, and Female Re-Enactors of Distinction (FREED). Come hear stories of what life was like during the Civil War. See soldiers march and drill and ask the ladies of FREED what civilian life was like.
